Types of Forces ?

Types of Forces ·          The Meaning of Force ·          Types of Forces ·          Drawing Free-Body Diagrams ·          Determining the Net Force A force is a push or pull acting upon an object as a result of its interaction with another object. There are a variety of types of forces.   Previously in this lesson , a variety of force types were placed into two broad category headings on the basis of whether the force resulted from the contact or non-contact of the two interacting objects.   Contact Forces Action-at-a-Distance Forces Frictional Force Gravitational Force Tension Force Electrical Force Normal Force Magnetic Force Air Resistance Force Applied Force Spring Force These types of individual f...

Time And Motion Introduction

Introduction Time and motion study (also referred to as motion and time study, the terms are used interchangeably) is the scientific study of the conservation of human resources in the search for the most efficient method of doing a task. A fascination with the word “efficiency” began in the late 19th and early 20th centuries when it was considered one of the most important concepts. Time study began in the 1880s as a means of wage-rate setting by Frederick W. Taylor, who is regarded as the “father of scientific management.” It consists of a wide variety of procedures for determining the amount of time required, under certain standard conditions of measurement, for tasks involving some human activity. Motion study was developed by Frank B. Gilbreth and Lillian M. Gilbreth and consists of a wide variety of procedures for the description, systematic analysis, and means of improving work methods. It is difficult to separate these two aspects completely. Therefore, the combined term ...

what is an electrician?

T he dictionary generally defines an electrician as a trades person who installs and maintains electrical systems in homes, businesses, and factories. At first glance, this might sound like a simple job, but you’ll find that it’s really quite complicated when you take a closer look. On most projects, the electrician is responsible for getting the electricity from the source to where it is needed in various parts of the building. To achieve this without endangering the public, he or she must have a good working knowledge of the relevant electric codes as well as the ability to translate the electrical systems from the blueprints into actual practice. Www.ITExpertTeam.Blogspo.Com Without electricians, there would be no lights, telephones, computers, or televisions plugged into our walls. Electricians also repair all electric machines and work in factories fixing motors, generators, and robots. Could you imagine what life would be like without electricians insuring we have all the...

Definition of electronics ?

Definition of electronics: Electronics is the branch of science that deals with the study of flow and control of electrons (electricity) and the study of their behavior and effects in vacuums, gases, and semiconductors, and with devices using such electrons. This control of electrons is accomplished by devices that resist, carry, select, steer, switch, store, manipulate, and exploit the electron. Some of the basic electrical units and definitions are mentioned below: Passive: Capable of operating without an external power source. Typical passive components are resistors, capacitors, inductors and diodes (although the latter are a special case). Active: Requiring a source of power to operate.    Includes transistors (all types), integrated circuits (all types), TRIACs, SCRs, LEDs, etc. DC : Direct Current. The electrons flow in one direction only.  Current flow is from negative to positive, although it is often more convenient to think of it as from positive ...

Automobile Engine?

Automobile engine: apparatus that converts fuel to mechanical energy to power a car. Air filter: device that removes impurities from air passing trough it. PVC hose: vinyl tube. Filter hole: cylindrical part forming the opening of the oil container. Cylinder head cover: removable cover on the upper part of the motor. Spark plug cable: cable connecting the spark plug to the distributor cap. Spark plug cover: spark plug cover. Spark plug: ignition device of an internal combustion engine. Exhaust manifold: system that collects spent gases. Dip stick: instrument that measures the level of oil in a motor. Flywheel: wheel that, while turning, regulates the speed of the engine. Engine block: set consisting the motor, the clutch and the gearbox. Exhaust pipe: pipe through which spent gas is expelled. Oil filter: device that removes impurities from oil passing through it. Gas line: network of hoses that transports the gas. Www.ITExpertTeam.Blogspo.Com Gas pump: device that ...

What is Network ?

A network is a group of two or more computer systems linked together. There are many types of computer networks, including: local-area networks (LANs) : The computers are geographically close together (that is, in the same building). wide-area networks (WANs) : The computers are farther apart and are connected by telephone lines or radio waves. campus-area networks (CANs): The computers are within a limited geographic area, such as a campus or military base. metropolitan-area networks MANs): A data network designed for a town or city. home-area networks (HANs): A network contained within a user's home that connects a person's digital devices. computer network diagram In addition to these types, the following characteristics are also used to categorize different types of networks: Www.ITExpertTeam.Blogspo.Com topology : The geometric arrangement of a computer system. Common topologies include a bus, star, and ring. See the Network topology diagrams in the Quick Re...

Hydraulic Circuit Diagrams ?

I am regularly involved in troubleshooting problems with hydraulic equipment. In these situations, there are two steps I always complete before reaching for my test gear. The first is to conduct a visual inspection of the hydraulic system, checking all the obvious warning signs that could cause the problem in question (never overlook the obvious). The second is to ask for a circuit diagram for the hydraulic system. There are four types of hydraulic-circuit diagrams: block, cutaway, pictorial and graphical. Block Diagrams show the components of a circuit as blocks joined by lines, which indicate connections and/or interactions. Cutaway Diagrams show the internal construction of the components and flow paths. Because these diagrams typically use colours, shades or patterns in the lines and passages, they are very effective at illustrating different flow and pressure conditions. This makes them ideal for training purposes. Pictorial Diagrams show a circuit’s piping arrangeme...

What is CNC Machine ?

CNC  Introduction  Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines are automated milling devices that make industrial components without direct human assistance. They use coded instructions that are sent to an internal computer, which allows factories to fabricate parts accurately and quickly. There are many different types of CNC machines, ranging from drills to plasma cutters, so they can be used to make a wide variety of parts. Though most are used industrially in manufacturing, there are also hobby versions of most of the machines that can be used in private homes. Types of Machines The most common CNC machines are milling machines, lathes, and grinders. Milling machines automatically cut materials, including metal, using a cutting spindle, which can move to different positions and depths as directed by the computer instructions. Lathes use automated tools that spin to shape material. They're commonly used to make very detailed cuts in symmetrical pieces, like cones an...
